Based in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Yale Popowich was a principal founder in 2014 of the Portland Plastic Surgery Group.. Since that time, Dr. Yale Popowich has received a variety of honors, such as being named the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year in 2017.

Alongside his medical degree earned from the Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1996, Dr. Yale Popowich holds a B.A. in political science from Columbia University and an M.B.A from the University of Tennessee, which he earned in 1986 and 2012, respectively.

Before entering upon his medical career, Dr. Popowich worked in Los Angeles, serving as the senior vice president of marketing and distribution at Avenue Entertainment. In that role, which he held between 1989 and 1991, he was responsible for the acquisition and marketing of several independent art films. He also oversaw the selection of appropriate theaters, along with a variety of other duties.

Dr, Popowich maintains an interest in the arts in his community today, serving on the board of directors of the Portland Art Museum and the Northwest Film Center. He is also a past board member of the Oregon Ballet Theater.
